About Book Review

Book Review is designed to offer readers instant access to thousands of reviews of fiction and non-fiction titles. The books have been reviewed by readers in the target age group and librarians have often commented that this has encouraged many of their students to take a greater interest in reading. Book Review on the internet offers instant access to our collection of reviews, and books can be searched for through a range of parameters including title, author, age group and subject. In most cases the review is accompanied by a photograph of the front cover. Our aim is to cover as many books as possible, and you are welcome to add reviews to the site for inclusion.

Book Review was originally established for a readership of students, librarians and teachers. Now we are on the internet we want to expand our interest base to include adult readers and build up our collection of reviews for and by adults. Reviews can be added directly to the site. These will be checked by an editor before being added to our review collection and becoming available to subscribers around the world. We welcome reviews from all age groups, even of titles already included on the database. If you disagree with a reviewer’s comments we are happy to include alternative opinions.
